Birthday Banner (Blue Theme) Video

This is my first video. I had a task to create a custom birthday banner for a 9 year old client who loves blue. The main color of choice was Tiffany Blue, so I had some metallic Tiffany Blue paper I had left from a wedding invitation job I did, and it turned out better than I thought it would.

Happy Holidays

It's that time again....how time flies. Christmas is coming at a fast pace!!! I am creating holiday wreaths to display your holiday spirit. These wreaths are rich in color and decor and perfect for gift giving, or display in your office, your outside door or inside your home on your wall. The wreaths that are show on display are 24" in size and start at $15. If you have a color in mind, I can create a color scheme only if order is placed early....surplies may go fast which causes a limited selection in colors.

So order your wreath today by sending me an email at soniabey@hfxpressions.com, or if you're on Facebook as a fan, inbox me.

Thanks,
Sonia

Creativity Doesn't Have Any Rules

I realize I have become obsessed with a hobby that can be a bit expensive when you add up all of the money spent on equipment, and supplies, and the gas to travel to the local crafts store, but I love it. When I first got back into scrapping and art, I was a little intimidated and just trying to make that perfect item, but now that I've been making cards (which is a new creativity for me), it just hit me that there are no rules for creativity. When I chat with scrappers and cardmakers on message boards, we all have something in common...we are our worst critics of our work. We fuss over whether we have the perfect color cardstock combination or that perfect element of bling or accessories that would set it off. Basically we are designers who work with paper or canvases. One thing that I know for sure as being an obsessed crafter of paper...I get to meet wonderful people who has a passion that I enjoy doing and that's just simply creativity.

New Cards

As usual I went on a Michaels excursion for paper and other knick-knacks. So my mission for this weekend was to make some holiday cards...so this is what I've created over the weekend.
This is an invitation I had a vision in my head, and I was able to find a wine stamp at Michaels. I wanted to do something different by adding velcro to keep the invite (inside hidden). I typed the invite on a cool metallic sheet and cut it to size for the inside flap.
